Objectives:
The primary objective of the WG is to develop guidelines for the preparation of nautical publications, in a digital format compatible with ECDIS. See Terms of Reference and Work Plan for further information. |

Meetings:
The WG works primarily by correspondence and aims to meet at least once every two years, normally in conjunction with another convenient IHO forum. |
Réunions:
Le GT assurera la liaison avec d'autres GT du HSSC ainsi qu'avec d'autres organes de l'OHI et/ou internationaux, selon qu'il convient et selon les instructions du HSSC. |
Members:
The WG comprises representatives of IHO Member States, Expert Contributors and Accredited NGIO Observers. Expert Contributors, principally from industry, participate in the WG at the invitation of the Chairman. A full list of the WG Members is available.

SNPWG Work in Progress
The Standardization of Nautical Publications Working Group meets every 9 months (approximately) to discuss work that has been carried out during the interim period. The WG has produced several Test Data Sets based on the initial modelling work that has been undertaken, and is also working on the production S-100 based Product Specifications for the various types of nautical publications required for navigation.
