This section provides information on IHO Stakeholder meetings that have taken place in recent years.

The IHO and its Member States recognise the importance and the valuable contribution of external stakeholders. External stakeholders include mariners, ship owners and operators, companies supporting Hydrographic Offices, maritime administrations, navigation equipment manufacturers, the oceanographic scientific community and chart resellers.

From time to time, the International Hydrographic Bureau (IHB) organises open meetings where external stakeholders provide valuable input to the work of the IHO.  In the past, these meetings have taken various forms including Industry Days and ECDIS Stakeholders Forums.  In addition, there are specific workshops dealing with issues such as ECDIS implementation or ENC distribution.
