Introduction
The online B-4 publication provides information concerning recent
bathymetric data that have been added to the IHO Data Centre for Digital
Bathymetry (DCDB) during past years. This online version replaces the B-4
printed document which was last issued in May 1996.
The information (metadata) and data can be located and extracted from the IHO-DCDB using the
online Web Map Server. This service makes provision
for the selecting and downloading, bathymetric data based on
various criteria, such as location (area), date of survey, contributor etc...
Introduction
La publication en ligne B-4 fournit des renseignements relatifs
aux données bathymétriques récentes qui ont enrichi le centre
de données de l'OHI pour la bathymétrie numérique (DCDB) au cours des
dernières années. Cette version en ligne remplace la publication
B-4 imprimée qui a été dernièrement publiée en mai 1996.
Les renseignements (métadonnées) et les données peuvent être localisés et extraits du DCDB de l'OHI au moyen du Serveur de cartes web. Ce service fournit la sélection et le téléchargement des données bathymétriques à partir de différents critères, tels que le lieu (la zone), la date du levé, le contributeur, etc.

In addition to the DCDB Map Server resource, metadata concerning bathymetry that has been added to the IHO-DCDB during the past five years, is also provided below. Colour coded plots showing the extent of surveys have also been included. These metadata records have been extracted from the IHO-DCDB using the online GEODAS application.
Outre le serveur de cartes, les métadonnées concernant la bathymétrie qui ont enrichi le DCDB de l'OHI au cours des cinq dernières années sont également présentées ci-dessous. Les tracés codés en couleurs qui montrent l'étendue des levés sont également extraits du DCDB de l'OHI grâce à l'application GEODAS en ligne .
